    Erster Neuzugang in der Defensive: Michael Brunner

    Die Kaderplanung für die kommende Oberligasaison schreitet weiter voran: Nun können wir mit Michael Brunner eine erste Neuverpflichtung für die Defensivabteilung vermelden.
    Michael begann mit 8 Jahren in Straubing mit dem Eishockey und durchlief dort alle Altersstufen bis zur U17. Anschliessend wechselte er zur U20 nach Landshut und hatte in der Saison 2020/21 seine ersten Oberligaeinsätze bei den Passau Black Hawks. Es folgte ein Wechsel in die Oberliga Nord zu den Diez-Limburg Rockets, von wo aus er zu Beginn der Vorsaison einen Vertrag bei den Heilbronner Falken unterschrieb.

    „Leider lief die vergangene Saison für mich nicht gerade zufriedenstellend, da ich verletzungsbedingt nur die Hälfte der Hauptrundenspiele absolvieren konnte. Ich möchte mich weiter verbessern und um daran zu arbeiten, scheint mir Stuttgart eine sehr gute Wahl zu sein", so der 21-jährige Zwei-Wege-Verteidiger.

    Jakob Vostarek, sportlicher Leiter der Stuttgart Rebels erklärt: „Michael, ein junger Verteidiger im Alter von 21 Jahren, tritt bereits in seine vierte Profisaison ein. Seine Erfahrung ist beachtlich, doch es bleibt noch viel Entwicklungspotenzial. Ich bin überzeugt, dass Michael gemeinsam mit den Rebels große Fortschritte machen kann und freue mich darauf, ihn auf diesem Weg zu begleiten.“

    Stuttgart Rebels schließen sich Kooperation mit Schwenninger Wild Wings und EHC Freiburg an
    Seit vielen Jahren verfolgen die Verantwortlichen aus Schwenningen und Freiburg einen gemeinsamen Weg, um junge deutsche Talente zu fördern und die Eishockeyregion in Süddeutschland zu stärken. Diese Zusammenarbeit wird nun durch den Einstieg der Stuttgart Rebels weiter vorangetrieben.
    Die erweiterte Kooperation ist nicht nur darauf ausgerichtet, die regionale Eishockeygemeinschaft zu stärken, sondern weiter darauf, talentierten Spielern die bestmöglichen Bedingungen zu bieten, um ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit auf höchstem Niveau zu steigern.
    Junge Talente erhalten dadurch die Möglichkeit, Erfahrungen auf verschiedenen Wettbewerbsebenen zu sammeln, sei es in der PENNY DEL, der DEL2, der Oberliga oder den Nachwuchsligen. Diese vielfältigen Einsatzmöglichkeiten bieten den Spielern dabei eine optimale Entwicklungsumgebung und die Möglichkeit, ihr Potenzial und ihre Karriere bestmöglich voranzutreiben.
    Jakob Vostarek, sportlicher Leiter der Stuttgarter Rebels, ist begeistert: „Es erfüllt mich mit Freude, dass wir die Weichen gestellt haben für eine kontinuierliche Zusammenarbeit mit zwei renommierten Vereinen im südlichen Deutschland. Diese Kooperation wurde mit dem vorrangigen Ziel etabliert, eine nachhaltige Progression auf jedem individuellen Standort zu begünstigen, um auf diese Weise eine optimale Förderung junger Talente zu gewährleisten und eine kraftvolle Allianz nach außen zu manifestieren.“
